Sutton Insurance is a family-owned business in its third generation. We have served Southwest Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa since 1957. In addition, we are also licensed in Minnesota, Illinois and Arizona.

George Sutton, who passed away in 2018, started the business in 1957 while working with his father Amos Sutton in real estate. George’s son, Robert, joined the agency in 1977 and continued the family legacy until finally retiring in 2018. Kevin Mulrooney joined the agency in 1988 and writes all the health, life and long term care products, and annuities. He continues his journey with the agency as a specialist for over age 65 clients.

Tarah Sutton Marx, Robert’s daughter, started with the agency in 2000, is the owner as of 2018, and writes and services commercial and personal lines clients. In 2012, the agency purchased White Insurance after Paul White retired and hired Paul’s long time employee, agent Sally Whitish. Sally is a licensed agent and writes and services personal and commercial lines clients. Sally has 40 years of insurance experience and is a wonderful addition to our staff. Carlee Monroe, started with the agency in 2015, is licensed and writes and services personal lines clients. Carlee is a true asset to our organization.
